Compensation? For fueling up the LLVs? You mean like we are being compensated (NOT) for all the damned scanner interruptions?
Quit complaining & just do your job. We all go under evaluation every day even with the scanner interruptions. These are going to help the Post Office in the future.

That’s not tied into the route counts ?
It is in the USPS vehicle allowance. In the equation to determine how much time we’re allotted, they use 100 as if we fuel every 100 miles. Some offices require carriers to refuel at 1/2 tank which would obviously be under that 100 miles per fueling. For a low mileage (i.e. 10 miles) route, it’s not a big deal since they are given 30 minutes minimum. If you’re a higher mileage route (i.e. 40 miles) you’re fueling almost daily due to mgmt requirement & not being paid fully for your time. Glad I don’t have this issue. 26 miles a day (21 mi route + deviations) and if subs use it on Sunday, they have to fill it up.

How many gallons does the llv tank hold?
If I remember correctly, it’s only a 12 gallon tank.
In my situation, I put in about 7-9 gallons everyday. There is no way to get around the route twice in one tank of gas. Therefore I need to fill up everyday. But I only get paid to do it every other day:(
