Ex-RCA gets $1 Million after SCOTUS Religious Bias decision

A Christian worker has settled for $1 million his religious bias lawsuit against the US Postal Service over his having to work Sundays, a case that went to all the way to the US Supreme Court.

Gerald Groff will receive three separate payments from the agency, according to a copy of the agreement provided by the Department of Justice. He’ll get $300,000 for his alleged non-wage-based compensatory damages, $100,000 for his alleged lost wages, and $600,000 for his “alleged attorneys’ fees and costs,” the document said.
