NLRB COMPELS POSTAL SERVICE TO COMPLY WITH NRLCA INFORMATION REQUESTS

National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association: “The Postal Service has entered into an important settlement agreement with the National Labor Relations Board (“NLRB”) and the Association to resolve an unfair labor practice charge filed by the NRLCA. The Association filed the unfair labor practice charge in response to the Postal Service’s repeated, unlawful refusal to provide information that was needed to process a grievance concerning an employee affected by the National Reassessment Process. Under the terms of the settlement agreement, the USPS must hand over the requested information to the NRLCA and post a notice informing employees that it will comply with all information requests and uphold the other rights guaranteed under the National Labor Relations Act.
