We have received numerous reports from annuitants that they have not received their 1099-R for tax year 2025 from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). This year, OPM has chosen to provide 1099-Rs digitally, and the annuitant is responsible for downloading the form. If you would like a hard copy mailed to you, you must contact OPM to opt in and change your communication preference to U.S. Mail.
There are two ways to receive your 1099-R digitally:
- Use the new 1099-R request tool (no login required): https://www.servicesonline.opm.gov/1099-request
- Log in to Retirement Services Online at www.servicesonline.opm.gov. Go to “1099-R Tax Form” and download your 1099-R.
