Step 4 – Credit when required to scan EVS barcodes

The issue in this grievance concerns proper credit during a mail count when management requires carriers to scan EVS barcodes at the time of delivery.

The Parties agree that if management requires rural carriers to scan additional mail pieces with barcodes at the time of delivery, such as EVS barcodes without USPS Tracking, appropriate credit will be provided in Column 15, Non-Signature Scan Items.
