A new website tells the Postal Service’s story

USPS has launched a website that celebrates the organization’s 250 years of service to the American people.

The site, Delivering Since 1775, is part of usps.com and features stories, pictures and links to other sites with more information about the Postal Service.

A timeline that stretches from the first Post Office in Boston in 1639 to today is included.

Delivering Since 1775 also highlights postal facts and initiatives such as the Delivering for America plan, the “Mail with Mr. ZIP” YouTube channel, the “Mailin’ It!” podcast and Shop USPS.

The site is part of the organization’s broader efforts to mark its 250th anniversary on July 26, along with the 250 Years of Delivering stamps and “Putting a Stamp on the American Experience” prestige booklet.
