NRLCA Statement on June 14 Shooting in Alexandria, Virginia

This morning, as a group of congressional representatives and staffers practiced baseball in a neighborhood just down the road from the NRLCA’s National Office in Alexandria, Virginia, another senseless tragedy struck. On behalf of our officers, staff, and over 120,000 members, we send heartfelt prayers and wishes to the shooting victims and their families for speedy recoveries from the physical and emotional trauma of today’s events. Thankfully, it appears that all of the victims will, indeed, recover. We also send our sincerest appreciation to the Capitol and local police, first responders, and others who put themselves in harm’s way today – and everyday – to protect this great nation and all of us.
