U.S. Rural Carrier Killed On The Job In Western Kentucky 

A U.S. Postal Service mail carrier was killed in a crash in western Kentucky Monday.

Kentucky State Police say Paula Brown, 50, was stopped on the shoulder of US-62 outside Princeton in Caldwell County delivering mail when a Chevy Tahoe crashed into her Jeep.

EMS took Brown to Caldwell County Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.Police say Dana Sims, 69, was driving the Tahoe.

She was treated for minor injuries and released.

  1. RIP fellow carrier. Prayers for the family and friends. I hope the person that hit her is prosecuted to the fullest extent. There was no reason for this to happen.

  2. It’s sad that people don’t watch for us and respect our safety. I was in an accident in March where a man decided to turn on the road I was passing, no turn signal, just turned right in front of me. Knew I was a carrier but thought he could beat me. Luckily neither of us were injured badly. What are people thinking and where did they learn to drive…. NASCAR!!! Prayers to the family, may God comfort them thru this difficult situation.
