A 54-year-old rural carrier died Sunday following a crash involving her mail truck

A 54-year-old employee of the U.S. Postal Service died Sunday following a crash Friday night involving her mail truck on Salisbury Road in Midlothian.

Chesterfield County police said Beverly L. Sublett, of the 19000 block of Poachers Run, was transported to a local hospital after a crash at 5:40 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Salisbury and Olde Stonegate roads, which is near the Robious Road entrance to the Salisbury neighborhood.

Police said they are still investigating this crash. They ask anyone with information to contact the Chesterfield County Police Department at (804) 748-1251 or Crime Solvers at (804) 748-0660 or through the P3 app.
