APCU Offers Assistance to NRLCA Members During COVID-19 Crisis

UPDATE: APCU has revised its offerings. It will no longer offer the special assistance loan. The Skip-a-Pay program is still in effect, but will return to the normal fee structure.

NRLCA members wishing to take advantage of these opportunities will need to do so before June 1, 2020.

APCU (Atlanta Postal Credit Union) has developed several programs to assist members financially during the COVID-19 crisis. For all NRLCA members who want to join the credit union to take advantage of these offers, APCU will cover the opening deposit on your behalf. Programs include:

 

  • Special Assistance Loans, allowing members to borrow up to $1,500 unsecured, at a rate as low as 4.99% with up to 18 months to repay – and a 90-day delay for the first payment
  • Automobile refinancing with a 60-day delay to the first payment
  • Skip-a-Pay for existing loans – two months with no fee
  • Small Business Paycheck Protection Program
