Rural Carrier Rodney Leis was recently delivering mail in Shepherdsville, KY, when he came upon an older customer in a moment of crisis:
The woman had fallen while working in her yard and couldn’t stand up on her own.
Leis alerted the customer’s husband, and together they safely helped her get back on her feet.
The woman declined medical attention.
