From NRLCA – What happens if the NRLCA is decertified?

The NRLCA National Board is aware of the efforts to decertify the NRLCA. We are providing the attached one-page document to the field to offer additional facts and information as to what would be at risk if the NRLCA is decertified. We take any and all attacks against this union seriously and we will not sit idly by to see what happens.

Please share this document widely with your state boards and fellow union members. It is time to bring awareness to our membership as there is a lot at risk.

This reads like a threat. Fk the NRLCA. Reading between the lines it says,” Holy s**t, the useless f**king stewards and the useless National Board can take their sorry a*ses back to their routes and stop trying to play Teamsters! We will court the real Teamsters. They will actually follow thru with Step 4s. The NRLCA seems to have them fkn vanish after telling us they filed one.

Nothing would make me happier than seeing my fat f**k district rep having to go back to delivering mail like the rest of us.

We won’t be without representation. We won’t be “at-will”. We will have the Teamsters. The NRLCA can suck it.

These money grabbers are quick to take our money and do absolutely nothing except talk about what all they do for us, meanwhile every contract they recede our strength and give up more of our benefits and earnings. 5 years to get an evaluation and they begged for a new system in RRECS that screwed 70 percent of the people they get money from. Can’t wait til this union dissolves, it’s been in management’s pocket for decades. Anytime you have a problem with something they just say it’s up to the postmaster. Worthless!

Everyone wants to knock the union but no one wants to talk about the good things they have done. Did everyone know we are the only craft in the postal service that get overtime credit for retirement. When you become regular you get 4 weeks vacation from the start. Most employees under teamsters have to be regular for 15 years before they get 4 weeks vacation. They also don’t earn sick leave like we do either. If you have a complaint about stewards and such you are the one who votes these ppl in. Are you active in your union… Read more »

Hey Mail Carrier,

Is that you Don Username unavailable? You must really be s**tting your pants to come on here. At least try to get your numbers right. When you make regular you get 13 days vacation. I don’t know, maybe you only work 13 days in 4 weeks, hence the confusion. Anyway Don, you can suck it buddy. Your days representing us are numbered.

WE NEED PROFESSIONAL REPRESENTATION. These national board “union leaders” are former RURAL CARRIERS with NO QUALIFICATIONS to perform their job. It is now clearly evident. DUMP THESE b*****dS, they can go back to the routes they destroyed.

Looks like the worthless slugs at the NRLCA are sweating, not from work but fear of having to work! Every item listed on the reasons to keep the useless NRLCA are the very reasons why we are voting to decertify them! Stewards are lazy, inept, corrupt, incompetent, completely useless when it comes time to enforce the contract. Ask yourselves this, have I gained anything from NRLCA representation? The last mail count I saw an increase was back in 2000. How many times in the last 23 years have union dues increased? Decertify the NRLCA now while we have the chance!!

NRLCA is corrupt and incompetent. When I took their corruption to the California Labot Relations Board in 2008 the NRLCA said they could not represent me as a Rural Carrier because they were incompetent.
YES, they admitted to the labor relations board that they were INCOMPETENT. Sounds like they still are.

I for one think our union is absolutely worthless, but all of the people talking about the Teamsters are out of touch with reality. There is ZERO chance that the Teamsters would ever represent us. They get all of their power from the threat of strikes, which is something we cannot legally do.
