New RRECS MOU

Please see the below MOU between the U.S. Postal Service and the NRLCA setting the future evaluation periods for all rural routes with effective dates at six-month intervals. This MOU also outlines several changes to be made to the calculation of Route Coverage effective with the rural route evaluations, October 7, 2023.

This still doesn’t address the problem of not getting paid for additions to the route. If a route is overburdened and boxes are moved to another route, the receiving route sees no increase in pay for 12-18 months. If you get 20 miles added to your route you see no increase in pay for 12-18 months. Time to flush this t**d and go back to the old system.

They still don’t know math, for agreeing to this. This is lose lose. Route coverage is tilted against us only. We can only lose, we cannot get more than 100% no matter how crazy busy it is. On the slow days then we lose. Union is pretty dumb for not knowing this.

There is still no clear procedure in the evaluation for routes with multiple post offices/zip codes. Non of our previous disputes were ever addressed. The USPS is a Joke!
