Medicine Lodge, KS, Rural Carrier Riley Gamber was recently delivering mail when he spotted an older customer lying on a wheelchair ramp outside her home.
Gamber immediately checked on the woman, who was semiconscious, and called 911.
He stayed with her until paramedics arrived.
The customer, who had suffered a stroke, did not survive.
