Camden, ME, Rural Carrier Michael Matthews was delivering mail when he noticed a house on fire and immediately called 911. No one was inside the house. Firefighters arrived and Matthews continued on his route. Although the house couldn’t be saved, the homeowner later visited the Post Office to thank Matthews for his diligence.
