Regular Carriers Working Monday, September 7, 2020

There is NO agreement between the NRLCA and USPS pertaining to regular rural carriers volunteering or being required to work on the upcoming holiday, Monday, September 7, 2020. There is no proper contractual method to compensate regular carriers for working their own route or any other route or providing any sort of package delivery on this holiday. Any manager requiring regular carriers to work or allowing regular carriers to volunteer to work on Monday, September 7, 2020 is in violation of the National Agreement and a grievance will be filed and pursued by this union.
