Postmaster General Louis DeJoy’s latest video message focuses on the Postal Service’s new sorting and delivery centers.

The centers, also known as S&DCs, combine several delivery units into a single large facility that serves multiple ZIP Codes in a geographic area.

S&DCs support the new USPS operational model and are part of the broader Delivery for America plan to achieve financial sustainability and service excellence.

The video also features comments from Postal Service employees, including a distribution clerk, custodian and customer services supervisor.

The four-minute video is the second installment in “The Plan in Action,” a five-part series on Delivering for America that will be released throughout the summer.
