Atlanta Postal Credit Union Files Notice of Recent Data Breach Following Ransomware Attack

On June 22, 2023, Atlanta Postal Credit Union (“APCU”) filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General of Montana after learning that a recent ransomware attack compromised the confidential information of some bank customers.

Based on the company’s official filing, the incident resulted in an unauthorized party gaining access to consumers’ names, Social Security numbers and financial account information.
