How will you vote on the tentative rural carrier contract? Click to vote in our poll

  1. No thank you. I know the raises would be similar to past and NALC. I know table two not going away. But realistically, we could have gotten equal cola for table two. And gotten to the top step at same time as table one. Dropping two weeks per step is like 6 months earlier, not enough.

  2. There should be something in the contract about not being able to cut us all the way down to 43K from a 48K.
I am losing 15K after 30 years of service, which is just ridiculous. How am I supposed to absorb that kind of loss? Union rep said they can do that because it’s in the contract. I want to know why that was ever in a contract. It needs to be taken out.

    • Absolutely, I feel like I did a lot to keep my route at a 48. Even with the fewest delivery points I have the most mail and packages. Now the aux is going to be a 46J. The union has never returned my calls.
