The Census Bureau is partnering with the Postal Service to explore the feasibility of using Postal Service carriers to conduct census work to assist in getting an accurate count of the nation for the 2030 census.
In preparation for the 2030 census, the Postal Service and the Census Bureau will conduct a test between April and July 2026 utilizing Rural Letter Carriers in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
