NRLCA Statement on Hurricane Helene

Statement from Don Maston, President of the National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association, on the Impact of Hurricane Helene on Rural Communities

The devastation caused by Hurricane Helene has had a profound impact on the rural communities our carriers proudly serve. As President of the National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association, I want to express my deepest concern for the families and individuals affected by this catastrophic storm. The damage to homes, infrastructure, and livelihoods is immense, leaving many of our communities in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia and Virginia vulnerable in its wake.
