The United States Postal Service (USPS) and the National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association (NRLCA) have agreed to a Memorandum of Understanding establishing procedures for rural routes receiving territorial adjustments, including adjustments to relieve overburdened routes, consolidations of one or more routes in an office, and the creation of new routes.
So just ctrl+z huh?
No comments whatsoever? Really?
Anyone ready to strike yet?
When does it take effect?
In my office it started today and it’s on the new 4240s
I got the same new 4240 on Saturday, but I just looked at the new upcoming paystub and already took the money off and adjusted the pay scale. Is this greivable ?
You’re right! The same thing happened to me! I’m not sure if it can be greived because my union steward hasn’t answered her phone for me in days 🤔🤔
Call Grainger, we’re going to need industrial strength lube for this one.
Why can’t we use the 6 months of RRECS and times it by 2. My route has increased in volume. By freezing route adjustments the routes that have increased in volume will be getting paid incorrectly for 6 additional months. For some this is a loss of 5-10 thousand dollars.
1st thing will be no more paying for union dues! Need to make up some way
Contract says new evaluation every six months period. President needs to resign. This is completely unacceptable. This is not the carriers fault and should pay nothing.
I’m so confused. My union steward said that the data from the last survey wasn’t able to be processed correctly, but now it can be. So we’ll get accurate evaluations. But today my new 4240 is right back exactly where it was before. So they are really acting like the last survey never happened and that data is not usable? The data showed that my route increased (rightfully so) but now I’m back down. So I’ll have to pay this difference back because I was overpaid? Am I getting this right???
Your evaluations are being cut again and you will receive a bill from USPS for overpayments. No mention of route abolishment’s due to Helene. Remember rural carriers had the opportunity to fire the NRLCA and chose not to. No complaints this is the bed you have made for yourselves.
