USPS Releases Social Distancing Guidelines for Annual Rural Route Inspections

The USPS sent these social distancing guidelines for annual rural route inspections to area managers last week. The Postal Service has not indicated whether or not a national mail count will be conducted in September.

The USPS has issued the following Standard Work Instruction (SWI) to provide guidance to protect employees from the COVID-19 virus while resuming Annual Rural Route Inspections (Form 4248):
