Density Test Scheduled for Routes with Collection Boxes

Rural Carriers with collection boxes will be required to participate in a density test period, September 2, 2023 and continuing on September 9-23, 2023.  USPS HQ agrees the carriers will be compensated for the additional time it takes to measure the mail.  It should only take seconds per time that it must be done.  This only applies to those routes with collection boxes, not all rural routes.   The time can be accumulated and paid at the end of the test on an 8127.  The additional time would only be for the measurement of the mail
