APWU Members Paint a Stark Picture of Toxic Workplaces

Ruralinfo note: I know it’s not rural but I am sure there are many rural carriers working in these same offices.

An APWU workplace survey of more than ten thousand APWU members has painted a stark picture of hostile work environments, low morale, and understaffing, overseen by poorly trained, ineffective, and disrespectful managers.

  1. Well, Lou, this article explains why every time I pull up this website I see an ad for personal injury lawyers.
I may need one – dogs jumped on a glass door and it exploded outward on me as I was delivering their owner’s boxes at their door. Glass was propelled into my arm. I filed for worker’s comp and need an MRI, but I can’t get one until some FECA Agency Reviewer approves it. So here I sit, trying not to move my arm and avoid the very sharp pain while someone somewhere that I can’t even contact takes their time.

    Despicable.
