As of 07/08/2021 text has not been received for H.R.4268 – To amend title 5, United States Code, to provide that civilian service in a temporary position after December 31, 1988, may be creditable service under the Federal Employees Retirement System, and for other purposes.

Was an rca for almost 13years and would love the opportunity to buy back my time. I sent a email to Jack Bergman’s office in northern Michigan about this and recieved a call back saying the F.R.F.A. is on his radar. ????????????

I have 16 years as Rca and only 5 years full time. This would be Great been watching in the past and hope this time it makes it in!!!
I also spent 14 years as an RCA. 2 and a half , I was full time . , this would be great , I’ve been full time for almost 16 years !!!

It’s really not worth the buy back It takes about 10 years to recoup the money spent That’s an average There are better uses of your money
So, if I buy back 7 years as an RCA. What is the benefit? Is there some kind of matching contributions? Sooner retirement with more money?
It says temporary position not part time positions. Will this keep USPS out???
