Electing the High Option on Form 4241

REMINDER: CARRIERS CAN TAKE HIGH OPTION IF YOU QUALIFY. YOU MUST SIGN THAT YOU WILL STAY UNDER 2080;

CARRIERS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO SIGN THAT THE SURVEY IS CORRECT. HOWEVER, YOU MUST PUT IN WRITING WHY YOU ARE NOT SIGNING.

Example form below

  1. I was wondering the same thing…why are we required to choose before we even know our evaluation.
    After thinking about it I realized that it doesn’t really matter because if you have less than 10 years you don’t have a choice, you automatically get the low option. If you have 10+ years then take the high option and once you get your new evaluation you can switch to the low option if that works better for you. The only thing to be careful with is that if you take the low option initially, you are locked in to that option. You can switch from high to low but not from low to high.

  2. I refused to sign. We have no way of knowing if we got credit for everything we’ve done over the last year or if it’s even accurate. The only thing we can do is trust management and I don’t and have never trusted them.

  3. My route qualifies for the high option. If I choose that does it automatically become the high option or is it my choice when these results come in from this count?

  4. I would like to know what the salary difference is between high and low nowhere is it even mentioned
