USPS Social Media Reminder

Your national officers have received concerns that carriers are posting pictures and videos of mail and pictures of the MDD showing tracking numbers of parcels, etc. The article linked below was recently included in a Postal Service LINK. We want to remind all carriers that not all workplace images are intended to be seen by the public and posting these images and pictures may violate postal regulations.

The Postal Service’s Administrative Support Manual, Section 363 outlines the organization’s social media policy and what is—and what isn’t—allowed to be shared online. See AS-805 Information Security for guidance on photography and video.
